A former convict penitentiary interpreted through guided visits to courtrooms, tunnels, cells and the gallows, alongside a self-guided digital history and artefact experience.

Open on the published seasonal schedule; guided tours and self-guided Convict Memorial have different hours and booking requirements.

Reception: Nov–Mar Tuesday–Sunday 9:30am–4:30pm; Apr–Oct Wednesday–Sunday 9:30am–4:30pm. Guided tours depart at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm. Convict Memorial: Nov–Mar Tuesday–Sunday 9:30am–3:30pm; Apr–Oct Wednesday–Sunday 9:30am–3:30pm. | Closed Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
