Terms for businesses and centres

• You must be the owner, or authorised by the owner, to manage the business or centre.

• We check every claim. We may ask for a document that shows the business name and address, and we may contact you by email or phone. We may refuse or remove a claim we cannot verify.

• If more than one person claims a business, we decide who manages the page.

• A claimed listing is free, always: a photo, a short description and your website, and for centres your vacancies by age group.

• Facts we have confirmed, such as facilities, location and government register details, stay ours. You can ask us to correct them; we check before changing anything.

• You ask for Featured from your listing’s page. We check the listing first and, if it suits Little Places, tell you by email that you can subscribe. We may decline without giving a reason. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

• Featured is a monthly subscription for one venue or centre. It adds your logo or sign at the top of your page, up to twelve photos, opening hours, prices and sessions, a Book or Enquire button, and a Featured card above the free listings near you. For centres it also adds replies to parent enquiries, job posts and the worker directory.

• At most three Featured venues or centres show in any one place. When more nearby are Featured, they take turns.

• Featured places are always labelled “Featured”, and the label says it is paid. Being Featured does not change the facts we have confirmed, how we describe other places, or whether other businesses are shown.

• We do not promise a number of visitors, enquiries or bookings.

• The price is shown before you pay. Little Places is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged and receipts do not show GST.

• Billing is monthly in advance through Stripe. Your card or bank details go to Stripe, not to us.

• You can cancel at any time from your business or centre page. You won’t be charged again. Featured stays on until the end of the month you have paid for, then your page returns to the free listing.

• If a payment fails, Featured pauses until it is paid. If it stays unpaid, the subscription ends.

• We can end Featured if you break these terms. If we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the month.

• Only upload photos and logos you own or have permission to use, of your own business, and words that are true.

• No photos where children can be recognised without their parents’ permission. No prices or offers you will not honour. No claims about other businesses.

• You give us permission to show what you upload on Little Places, in its apps and in link previews, for as long as it is on your page.

• We may remove anything that is wrong, unsuitable, reported by others or against these terms, and we may hide a page while we check.

• We try to keep Little Places accurate and working, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

• We are not responsible for lost business, profits or bookings, or for any indirect loss.

• Where the Australian Consumer Law says we can’t exclude a guarantee, our only obligation is to provide the Featured service again for the affected period, or refund what you paid for that period.

• We may update these terms. If a change matters to Featured subscribers, we email you at least 14 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
