Centennial Homestead Playground sits behind the Homestead cafe and restaurant in Centennial Park and is designed for children up to five. Alongside giant guiros, turtle sculptures and hug-me poles there is a small water feature rather than a splash pad. The playground is open sunrise to sunset all year and is free. Takeaway coffee and food are next door, with picnic tables close by. Public toilets on Park Road South are about 140 metres away; the nearest baby change is at the Sports Centre, roughly 260 metres off.
