Kirkdale Park playground is beside the Merri Creek in Brunswick East, in a park used for off-lead dog walking. A nature play space built in 2016 has a hand water pump at the top of a mound, so children can send water down the slope. Swings, a sandpit, a slide and a merry-go-round round out the play equipment. It is free, with public toilets roughly 70 metres away and a basketball half court nearby.
