Leo Hoffmann Reserve is a neighbourhood park on the corner of Newcastle and Oxford streets, Newport. Its upgraded play space has a sandpit with a shade sail, a flying fox and climbing frames, and the reserve adds a ninja-style fitness course, a rotunda, barbecue areas and a basketball and netball hoop. It is free to visit. Council has listed toilets only as a later-stage project; the closest public toilets are on Mason Street, roughly 500 metres away near the Newport Hub.
