Melba Park is a council reserve on Market Street, Lilydale, next to Lilydale Recreation Reserve. Yarra Ranges Council has renewed the playground and added a water-based play area, along with barbecues, picnic tables and a drinking fountain; a wetland project is also under way in the park. Council has not said whether the water play is pump-operated or seasonal. Entry to the reserve is free. Public toilets with baby change are about 70 metres away, off Market Street.
