Neptune Park Playground is a hillside City of Whittlesea playground off Neptune Terrace in Mernda, laid out over several levels with a tunnel slide at the top. It has a sandpit area, a picnic shelter with tables, barbecues, seating, a drinking fountain and fitness equipment. The only water element is a hand pump in the sandpit, not a splash feature. The council charges no fee. Public toilets with baby change are about 760 m away on Galloway Drive.
