Piney Lakes Sensory Play Park, off Murdoch Drive in Winthrop, has water and sand play built around raised tables that children in wheelchairs can reach, with accessible picnic tables set at different heights right beside them. The City of Melville suggests packing a change of clothes. The rest of the park adds musical elements, concrete slides, an accessible roundabout and several kinds of swings. It is not fenced, and it sits beside a lake.
