Putney Park stretches along the Parramatta River at Pellisier Road, Putney. The City of Ryde describes a large playground with water features, and its history page dates the regional playground, water park and climbing frame to 2003. A smaller playground for young children sits at the southern end. The park has barbecues, picnic spots, shaded areas and four gazebos for hire, and the Putney Beach swim site is on the same foreshore. Entry is free.
