Ruth Park on Edgeworth Parade is the central community playground for Coombs, spread over a slope that mixes built equipment with natural play. Two galvanised-steel water play pieces let children play with water by hand; there are no spray jets or splash pad. Sand play, a trampoline, swings, slides, spinners and musical elements fill the rest, and shelters give shade over partly fenced areas. There is no fee. Toilets with baby change and wheelchair access are about 60 metres away, and parking is on the street.
