In Wollongong, Stuart Park near North Beach has an 8.6-metre Sky Tower with three giant tube slides. Mood Park in Albion Park is one of four Shellharbour playgrounds that the council fenced in late 2024. Near Dapto Skate Park, Dimond Brothers Playground has water play and a nest swing, but no shade. In Nowra, Marriott Park is a short walk from the town centre, with barbecues and toilets.
Kiama's Hindmarsh Park in the town centre was rebuilt in 2024. It has an inclusive trampoline, an accessible carousel and an embankment slide. Behind the Shellharbour Civic Centre, Yirran muru is laid out as a map of local travel routes. It was co-designed with the local Aboriginal community.
Further south, Corrigans Beach Reserve at Batehaven has a fenced inclusive playground with toilets nearby. In Merimbula, Ford Park is fully enclosed, beside the main beach and the new skatepark.
