On Bowen's Front Beach, the Foreshore Park playground was renewed by the council in 2025–26. Bowen Water Park, on the same foreshore, closes on Tuesday mornings for maintenance. The Cannonvale Beach foreshore playground was upgraded in 2019, along with extra barbecues and exercise equipment. Proserpine's Pioneer Park has a climbing net, a track ride with a tower, a mouse wheel and an all-abilities bird's nest swing. In Collinsville, the Conway Street playground sits beside the town's swimming pool and water park.
On the Airlie Beach foreshore, the playground by the Coconut Grove car park has a 10.5-metre skywalk and a rope bridge. There is also a climbing net, three big slides and a pirate ship for younger children. The lifeguarded Airlie Beach Lagoon, with a toddler pool, is about 500 metres west.
Proserpine's Keith Johns Estate Park has tower play equipment and a small toilet block. When the Collinsville pool closes from May to August, a gate keeps its water park open daily. The Dingo Beach Foreshore Reserve playground was renewed in the same council program.
