Joan Herraman Reserve is on Sixth Avenue in Ascot Park. Its playground centres on a large undercover climbing net over a sandpit, linked to a rocky water play area; there are no spray jets. Rocks and logs lead up to a mound slide, and there is a basket swing, baby swing, standard swing and spinning cup. A picnic table, BBQ, seating and drinking fountain are provided, with off-street and disabled parking. The reserve has no toilets; the nearest, at Edwardstown Oval, are about 490 metres away. Free to use.
