The adventure playground at Glenthorne National Park is one of South Australia's biggest nature play spaces. It has three slides, a 25-metre flying fox, a fossil dig and Kaurna carvings, with barbecues and toilets.
In Belair National Park, the old concrete tunnels and timber fort are still there. A new playground opened beside them in December 2025, and the kiosk opens on weekends and holidays.
Closer in, Marion's Hendrie Street Reserve playground is fully fenced. It has water play, an inclusive carousel and a rocky river for nature play.
