West Lakes' Midcourse Reserve is a lakeside playground with a carousel, a basket swing, barbecues and a toilet. In Findon, Matheson Reserve pairs its playground with fitness equipment and a barbecue. Klemzig Reserve has a playground and picnic area next to the sports grounds, with barbecues and toilets.

On the coast, the Semaphore foreshore has playgrounds by the jetty, near the historic carousel and miniature steam train.
