In South Hedland, Shay Gap Memorial Park has a playground with a flying fox and a tower. Kununurra's Celebrity Tree Park has an all-abilities playground and fitness equipment on Lily Lagoon. In Karratha, Mara Guthurra Park in Baynton has a play space beside an oval, with barbecues and toilets. Port Hedland's Cemetery Beach Park playground has a ship's bow facing the beach and face-to-face swings. In Broome, the Town Beach playground has a water park with a whale tail sprayer.
Broome's water park opens from 8.30am to 5pm and closes on Tuesdays. In Karratha, Nickol West Park pairs its play space with a skate park, fitness equipment and toilets. At Millars Well, Kevin Richards Memorial Oval has a play space, barbecues and cricket practice nets. Dampier's foreshore playground has a half basketball court, barbecues, toilets and shade.
In Tom Price, the town mall playground has a splash pad and climbing equipment. In Fitzroy Crossing, the adventure playground beside the town oval has musical pipes and see-saws under a shade sail.
