In Maryborough, Anzac Park has SplashSide, a free water play area with fountains, stream jets and a tipping bucket. Its all-abilities playground has an accessible carousel, an in-ground trampoline and a Liberty swing. Urangan's Dayman Park has a climbing net and views of K'gari. In Torquay, Nielsens Park has a playground and barbecues on the Esplanade. Point Vernon's ESA Park has a playground set back from the road. Its lights shine away from the beach, so turtle hatchlings from a nearby rookery head for the sea.
On the Pialba foreshore, the all-abilities playground beside Seafront Oval has a wheelchair-accessible trampoline and seesaw. Kids can pump water, work a sand hoist and dig for dinosaur fossils. There is a Changing Places toilet, and Liberty swing keys come from council customer service at 23 Main Street.
Kawungan's Margaret Linn Reserve has a fenced playground with swings and a slide. Tinana's Jack Mason Park has swings and a slide. Down the coast, Poona's Eric Coe Park has a playground and a covered picnic shelter looking over the beach.
