Mount Gambier's Valley Lake playground is fenced, with toilets and a parents room beside its gate. In Naracoorte, Market Square has an enclosed playground with a flying fox, monkey bars and a seesaw. In Millicent, The Domain has the Mega Playground, with a Liberty Swing, nature play and a skate park. Bordertown's Apex Park has play equipment, a picnic area, accessible facilities and toilets. In Penola, War Memorial Park has a playground, a skate park, two barbecues and toilets.
At Naracoorte Caves, the Fossil Hunters Playground is a free nature play space, and the park above ground suits prams. Naracoorte's Memorial Parklands has nature play with a sandpit and water play.
At Robe's Long Beach, the Lions reserve has a large playground and a barbecue rotunda, with the beach just over the dunes. Port MacDonnell's Waterfront playground has accessible equipment and nature play beside the jetty. Kingston SE's Lions Park has a fully fenced, shaded playground. Beachport's fenced Susan Wilson Memorial Playground is named after a shopkeeper remembered for her generosity to children.
