In St Helens, the Percy Steel Reserve playground sits on the foreshore, just past the bridge as you come in from the south. It joins the shared walking and cycling path along Georges Bay. Bicheno's Lions Park has play equipment, barbecues, toilets and a stage on a big lawn near Waubs Bay. In Swansea, Jubilee Park has a playground, a shelter, barbecues and toilets by Jubilee Beach. Triabunna Recreation Ground pairs its play equipment with a barbecue area and a fenced dog park.
Scamander's playground is by the beach at the river mouth, with a big lawn, picnic tables and toilets. Down south, Orford's Our Park has a small bike track with traffic lights for young riders. It also has barbecues, toilets and walkways down to the beach.
Inland at Fingal, the playground is in Fingal Park, which doubles as a camping stop paid by donation, with barbecues. Across the Break O'Day Council area, dogs are banned from council playgrounds, and so is smoking within 10 metres of the equipment.
