In Dalby, the Myall Creek playground sits on the creekside walking path, with barbecues and toilets. Warwick's Queens Park has a bird's nest swing and a carousel. In Kingaroy, Memorial Park got a four-metre swing in July 2026, the tallest in the South Burnett. In Toowoomba, the Newtown Park playground sits under a big water oak, near the State Rose Garden.
Toowoomba has its own Queens Park, with two play areas. The Margaret Street Playground has a seven-metre tower, a flying fox and a hamster wheel. The Lindsay Street All Access Playground has a Liberty swing, an accessible spinning platform and musical chimes. At Kearneys Spring, Carly Hibberd Park has beginner mountain bike trails and a fenced dog off-leash area.
North of the city, Sandy Brennan Park in Highfields has play equipment among fruit trees, with a pavilion and tree-lined paths. Out west, Chinchilla Botanic Parkland has a shaded playground and a watermelon-themed water park, open 8am to 5pm.
